Trap events at the World Championships concluded earlier today with the Junior Mixed Team Trap finals.
The USA1 team of Logan Lucas and Emma Williams would finish the qualification round in 3rd place with a score of 137, earning a finals berth. They would go on to be eliminated by bib number in 5th position after drawing even with the IND2 team, who had the #2 bib. The USA2 team of Dale Royer and Carey Garrison would finish in 12th place with a score of 128.
Of the 6 trap events contested, the US would bring home medals in 4 of them, including 3 team and 1 individual. Unfortunately, they failed to earn one of the 12 quota places up for grabs.Team USA's trap shooters come home with Logan Lucas's Silver in Junior Men's Trap, Team Silver in Men's Trap (Glenn Eller, Grayson Davey, Jake Wallace), Team Bronze in Junior Women's Trap (Emma Williams, Carey Garrison, Maddy Bernau), and another Team Bronze in Women's Trap (Kayle Browning, Ashley Carroll, Aeriel Skinner).

Next, we set our sights on skeet, which kicks off tomorrow night with Junior Men's Skeet and Women's Skeet.
In Junior Men's Skeet, Nic Moschetti and Eli Christman return to their second consecutive World Championships, while Alex Ahlin makes his debut. On the Women's side, the team of Kim Rhode, Amber English, and Caitlin Connor will be looking to keep the world title safely in the US for the 4 time in a row. Brandy Drozd won the title in 2014, Morgan Craft in 2015, and Dania Jo Vizzi in 2017. Kim will be looking for her second world title after taking the Gold in Munich in 2010.
